There are a number of things we would advise you look at when booking the services of a dog walker. These include:
Most requests for our pet sitting service are for cats and dogs. We are happy to offer pet sitting for other pets though. Whether it’s guinea pigs, rabbits, bearded dragons or some other pet, please contact us.
During a group walk we will not walk more than four dogs at a time. This ensures we are in full control of your dog and can give them our full care and attention. If you would prefer your dog walked separately, then solo walks are available on request.
Yes, prior to walks or pet sitting taking place an initial free meet and greet consultation will take place at your home to discuss your specific requirements. We will take detailed notes about your pet’s habits, exercise regime, behaviour, and medical history. We will also use this opportunity to go through and complete the necessary paperwork including the Vet Treatment form (in the unlikely event your pet needs to be taken to the vet), and our Terms and Conditions.
In the unlikely event of an emergency, we will immediately call and notify you. In the initial meet and greet, we will ensure we have emergency contact details in the event we cannot reach you. If veterinary treatment is needed, we will take your pet to your preferred vet or depending on circumstances, to the nearest possible one. Your pet will not be left unattended unless the vet has advised it is safe to do so.
